Installation tips
  1. Place the unit in the most central location of the work-or-containment area for optimal airflow. When used for remediation, follow standard “negative air” setup (exhaust directed outside or to safe area) per guidelines.
  2. Ensure sufficient power supply: 115 V/60 Hz, check amperage draw especially when multiple units are daisy-chained.
  3. Connect any required intake or exhaust ducting: inlet typically 16″ diameter, outlet 8″ diameter (optional ducting) for focused airflow.
  4. Check and install filters: verify pre-filter is clean; activated carbon and HEPA filters are properly seated. Replace or clean per usage/condition. A filter-change indicator exists to remind when flow is restricted.
  5. For stacked units, secure units horizontally or vertically, ensure adequate ventilation around units and correct duct connections.
  6. After setup, monitor airflow and noise; ensure no vibration or blockage. Label installation date and plan filter-service schedule based on environment (high load areas may require more frequent service).
  7. For intensive remediation (smoke, mold, dust), run unit continuously until particulate/odor control goals are met; perform post-job cleaning of the unit itself to avoid cross-contamination.
