Loaded with features, the Air-O-Swiss AOS-7144 Ultrasonic Warm/Cool Mist Humidifier will create the perfect indoor conditions. Choose the pre-heating function and mist exits the appliance at a pleasant 104 °F. ITC™ technology (Intelligent Temperature Compensation) monitors the temperature and automatically adjusts the output when conditions change. A replaceable demineralization (Ag+ Ionic Silver Technology) cartridge ensures water mist without lime scale or mineral residues, and the AIR-O-SWISS quad-band microbial protection system prevents microbial growth in the water base. This is particularly important when the humidifier is not used for some time with water remaining in the base.
Water and Hygiene Quad-band Water Quality Protection - The patented Ionic Silver Stick®, the cornerstone of our protection system, uses aqueous silver ions to control microbial growth for up to one year of continuous use. The ultrasonic system, with its high-frequency vibrations, destroys most bacteria and viruses. Pre-heating the water to 176 °F (80 °C) eliminates bacteria and viruses. The plastic housing of the demineralization cartridge is treated with silver (Ag+ Ionic Silver Technology) inhibiting microbial growth on its surface.
