Annual replacement filter kit for MA-WH-10 Whole House Air Cleaner
Each filter kit includes:
12 - Pre-Filters
6 - Carbon Filters
1 - 12" H.E.P.A. Filter
Pre-Filters - Change Every Month - 12 - 1/2" Polyester pre-filters are supplied with each MA-WH-10 filter kit. The pre-filter is changed monthly and removes larger particles such as lint, hair, dust, and pollen. The pre-filter is important because not only does it remove the larger particles, it also helps prolong the life of the HEPA filter in the system. Essentially, the pre-filter is the first line of defense in maintaining your system, therefore promoting better indoor air quality.
Pre-filters cannot be washed and should be changed monthly.
Activated Carbon Filter Pads - Change Every 2 Months - 6 Activated Carbon Filters pads are supplied with each MA-WH-10 annual filter kit. The activated carbon filter should be changed every two months and removes odors by absorbing the odor molecules into the filter. Since the activated carbon can only absorb a certain amount of molecules, it will begin releasing the trapped molecules once it's full, back into the air if not properly maintained.
Carbon filters cannot be washed and should be changed every 2 months.
HEPA Filter - Replace Annually - 1 - 12" HEPA Filter is supplied with each MA-WH-10 annual filter kit and should be changed once per year. The HEPA filter removes the very small particles, such as smoke (tobacco, burning wood, oil, rosin), dust mites, spores, mold spores, pollen, spray paint, spray paint dust, ashes, cement dust, auto emissions, textile fibers, fiberglass, hairspray, insecticide dust, copier toner and most viruses just to name a few. As you can see, the HEPA filter is an extremely important filter and when used and maintained properly will dramatically improve your indoor air quality. We cannot stress enough the importance of the HEPA filter to our system and the fact the HEPA filter must be maintained in order to achieve the maximum results.
HEPA filters cannot be washed and should be changed yearly.
