The Indoor unit (evaporator) is mounted inside the room and is connected to the outdoor unit (condenser) via small refrigerant lines that run through a three inch opening in the wall or ceiling. Since multi-zone inverter systems require no ductwork, installation is simple, fast & efficient*. There is no need to use up window space or cut large openings in existing walls. Since the compressor is located in the outside, operating noise inside is virtually eliminated. The indoor unit is designed to provide whisper quiet operation while delivering comfort throughout the room (s). Our ductless multi zone mini split systems deliver the unmatched comfort of a traditional split system to three rooms with only one outdoor unit. And, because each zone operates independently (with it’s own remote control), people in each room will all enjoy the temperature that makes them feel the most comfortable.
Pridiom Multi Zone air conditioners / heat pumps are perfect for residential, commercial, and institutional building applications. The most common applications are in multi-family housing or as retrofit add-ons to houses with “non-ducted” heating systems, such as hydronic (hot water heat), radiant panels, and space heaters (wood, kerosene, propane). Multi zone inverter air conditioning /heat pump systems can also be a good choice for room additions and small apartments, where extending or installing distribution ductwork (for a central air-conditioner or heating systems) is not feasible. Applications in other types of buildings include: recording studios, school classrooms; perimeter cooling for office buildings; additional cooling for restaurant kitchens; and cooling for small offices within larger spaces, such as arenas, warehouses, and auditoriums.
Advanced Inverter Technology is a modernized technology that changes the voltage entering in the unit from AC (Alternating Current) to DC (Direct Current), like you would find in a car battery. This voltage inversion allows the unit to vary the speed of the compressor. This will speed up the compressor while demand is high and slow down the speed of the compressor and the speed of your electric meter while demand is lower.
