The IQAir Dental Series has been specifically developed to deal with exactly those contaminants commonly found in dental environments. The result is cleaner and healthier air for dentists, their personnel and patients.
The IQAir Dental Hg FlexVac captures mercury vapor and drill aerosols right at the source. It reduces human exposure to harmful pollutants by removing them before they can be inhaled or disperse in the ambient air. The units' outstanding ability to reduce room levels of mercury has been documented by the renowned Institute of Hygiene at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. This mobile, source-capture system with flexible, self-supporting suction arom positioned 1 foot away fromt he patient head draws in mercury vapor, drill aerosols, bacteria, viruses and latex allergens.

Once the contaminants are drawn in through the flexvac, the IQAir filter media captures and retains these gases and odors. First, the polluted air is drawn in and passes through a high-efficiency pre-filter where it is stripped of bacteria, viruses, allergens and larger aerosols. Next the air is filtered by three distinct types of gas phas control media which are contained in the IQAir's unique filter cartridges. These gas filter stages remove VOCs, mercury vapor, disinfectant vapors, formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, odors and many more gaseous contaminants. The final filter stage consists of an electrostatically charged high-efficiency post-filter which traps even the smallest of particulate pollutants and microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses.

Advanced Controls The IQAir control panel allows you to select from six fan speed settings. A two line LCD displays the corresponding air delivery rate at each speed setting. A sophisticated filter life monitoring system calculates the remaining life of each individual filter. An integrated timer lets you program the unit for automatic operation. For added convenience, the Dental Pro unit also comes with a remote control.
