The Amcor ALTL-12000EH 12,000 BTU self-evaporating portable Air Conditioner with Heater features an LCD display with remote control, a built-in 65 pint dehumidifier and is ideal for rooms up to 400 sq. ft.
This portable air conditioner/heater from Amcor cools (or heats) with 12,000 BTUs, has a built-in washable filter, and can remove up to 65 pints of moisture per day from a 400 square foot room. The unit features "Continuous On" and 1 to 12 hour digital timer settings make this unit perfect for cooling or heating your room any time of day or year. Smooth rolling casters allow you to easily move the unit from room to room, while the 8-foot cord can be plugged into any grounded outlet.
Portable air conditioners must be vented through a window or into another room. Exhaust hose and window/wall kit included.
The ALTL-12000EH features an easy to set/easy to read LCD display with a remote control. With it's self evaporating technology, the Amcor ALTL-12000EH portable air conditioner is designed to provide quiet and efficient cooling to any room, with no permanent installation. During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. Approximately 65-70% of water condensed is evaporated out with the exhaust air, reducing the hassle of emptying the water tank constantly. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain outlet and water tube. When the tank fills, the compressor stops operating and the power light will flash. This indicates that the tank should be emptied.
