The FM-14 Flushmount Air Cleaner is designed for a flushmount installation in a solid ceiling with 16" on center joists. A 13" depth clearance is required above ceiling. After the FM-14 smoke eater is secured to joists, a finished molding is recommended for appearance. It is recommended that the air cleaner is installed in areas that do not exceed a 10 ft. ceiling height. All filters on the FM-14 commercial smoke eater are accessible from the louvered doors on the face of the system.1 unit recommended for every 800 square feet.
