* Vapor steam cleaners will clean carpets
if they are not extremely soiled or worn. If your carpets are terribly
stained and dirty, they should be professionally cleaned first and then
gone over with the vapor steam cleaner to sanitize the carpeting and
remove the chemicals left behind. Vapor steam cleaners are best suited
for light cleaning, maintenance and spot removal and will take longer to
use than water extraction cleaning machines. Vapor steam cleaners are
excellent in killing bacteria, fleas and dust mites, and in removing
chemicals and odors from carpeting and other surfaces. It is important
to vacuum your carpets before and after using your vapor steam cleaner.
The heated steam from the steam cleaner will draw dirt, hair, etc. to
the surface where vacuuming will remove it. |
